Microsoft Dynamics GP from within SharePoint*:
With SharePoint as the natural extension of the Office Suite for information sharing augmented with ShareVis’ interpreted workflow and Web forms processes we are finally seeing an emerging common environment familiar to most users. A notion supported by a large number of enterprises that automate discrete processes with ShareVis interacting with corporate systems for anything from Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, Finance, and a host of Compliance Processes.
ShareVis DynEx GP provides a product with process based interaction and services to members of the Dynamics team. It support easy interaction when needed by the workflow process in a way that is natural to the task at hand while leaving the uniquely qualified to master the intricacies of using the native Dynamics application. While some users spend their days using the Dynamics products others are able to participate as required by their specific assignments guided by the workflow process and presented with and interacting through task-specific Web forms.
As new processes are configured they show up available in the portal and ready to be used. As required by the process a step in the workflow may retrieve and present aggregated information that may not even be available in the native product without requiring the traversal of a number of individual screens, thus allowing the assignee to quickly and efficiently review, interact, make a decision, and move the process forward. Any modification to a process can be easily introduced by rearranging the interpreted workflow steps and the associated Web form views.
