ShareVis has been successfully benchmarked and won against systems that cost several times more and is now in use by companies in Electronics/High Tech, Automotive, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Oil & Process, Transportation, Pharmaceuticals and Government.
As part of the sales cycle ShareVis typically offers to configure and demo a workflow and web-form process. In most cases the a company will already have a quote for a custom implementation of the same process and seeing it easily configured in ShareVis really opens their eyes to the power of ShareVis. The process showcased in the demo usually ends up being the first process the company deploys once ShareVis is installed.

Objectives
- Provide a phased review process for new products supporting information sharing and decision making ensuring profitable product development and introduction.
- Have a staged approval processes with phases and gates to be “passed.”
- Each Phase Approval is supported by workflow and forms collecting and approving documentation, such as ROI analysis spreadsheets and other information.
- Once gates are passed, make key metrics and other information, such as ROI and supporting documentation available on the dashboard for easy access.
- Provide non-technical users (CFOs, CEOs, Boards of Directors Members, etc.) easy access to information and allow them to participate in the process without being experts in the system being used.
Implementation
- Automatically instantiate and create the Phase Gate Review site hierarchy with a "Product Planning" site, below which there are "Division Dashboards" and various individual “Project Sites.”
- On the "Project Sites" provide dashboard information that summarizes the project progress, key metrics, and other information.
- Leverage configurable ShareVis Web-based forms and workflows to collect information for each phase approval and to conduct the approvals.
- For each phase that is in process (being approved) show status information.
- Once a phase is approved update the dashboard with key metrics from the documents that are being routed, such as the ROI data from the ROI spreadsheet and make this easily available on the dashboard.
- Make secure links to the approved documents available on the dashboard.
